General Information

This indicator has been programmed for the MetaTrader platform, Version 4.x
and works on all currency pairs and all time frames.

The RCSI is based on a standard RSI. The special feature of this indicator is that it not only calculates the relative strength of a currency pair, but the relative strength of both currencies from all currency pairs supported by your broker. This way we get two RSI-values, one for first currency, and once for the second currency.

But thats not all. To increase accuracy, the indicator has an input-option to calculate the RSI periods using the dominant cycle as described by John F. Ehlers

Application of the RCSI is versatile. Whether as a confirmation for outbreaks or trend-following strategies, the RCSI is a must for any trading decision.

Functions

The Dominant Cycle: The forex market moves in cycles or wave motion. The length of these cycles is constantly changing. To determine the dominant cycle of a chart, there are several approaches. I think the best approach for the calculation of the dominant cycle was described by John F. Ehlers. Compared with other calculations, this calculation generates virtually no lag and is especially good for use in trading.
Adaptive: With the change of an input option the RCSI will convert in an adaptive indicator which uses the currently dominant cycle of each individual currency pair.
Fully configurable: You want to change the values used for the calculation or just adjust the colors of the indicator? No problem. The RCSI has many input options, so you can adjust it optimal for yourself.
Smoothing: It is possible to smooth the RCSI calculations with a amoving average for smoother results. The necessary settings can be made in the Input options.
Currency-Meter: To obtain an accurate and quick overview, you can view the current values in a currency-meter on your chart.
Including Source-Code: You also get the complete source code of the Indicator. This way you have the opportunity to expand or adapt the Indicator by yourself or the programmer of your choice. Special attention was paid to write the source code easy to read.

The Expert Advisor can not be used for backtests because of the news filters and because it uses data from multiple time frames.
For this reason, we have established a live forward test on ActivTrades. Risk is set to 1% per Trade.

Which broker do you recommend to trade with the Expert Advisor?

The Expert Advisor works with all brokers. Basically, I recommend a broker which supports micro- or mini-accounts. So you can get a feeling for the expert advisor under live conditions and act with a small risk. Possible brokers i can recommend are FxOpen, ActivTrades and FxPro.

Why do you sell this Expert Advisor when it is so good?

There are several reasons to sell a good Expert Advisor. The last three years i have employed me very intensively with Forex. During this time I have programmed nearly 100 Expert Advisors. I could have sold one or another of them but i knew they were not good enough. I have bought enough Expert Advisors that wasnt worth a cent and I have always hoped to find a really good product. Now I have the chance to give you the opportunity to buy the product, which I had searched in vain. I am of the opinion that it is better to invest more in a good Expert Advisor and to start with a small capital. Many people buy a cheap Expert Advisor to trade a large account with it. Big mistake.

How often does the expert advisor trade?

This is quite different and depends on market conditions. per week and currency pair maybe a maximum of 10 trades.

Will i get the same Trades as on the FX-Unleashed Demo-Account?

This depends on which Broker you are using. Not every broker use the same time-zone, so the open and closing times for 4-hour bars are different. Another reason for different signals is the calculation of the currency strength. The currency strength indicator uses all currency pairs provided by your broker to calulate its values and each broker provide you with a different amount of currency pairs. So signals can vary and could be executed some time earlyer or later than on the here published demo-account. The FX-Unleashed live-account is working with ActivTrades.com.

On which currency pairs does the expert advisor work?

Basically, the expert advisor works on all currency pairs.
I let it act only on pairs with less than 10 pips spread.

What minimum capital is required?

You should have enough capital on your account to open a trade with a risk of 2% of your capital (stop loss aprox. 50 pips). For a micro account, these are 10 euros, for a mini-account € 100 and for a standard account at least 1000 €. Furthermore, you should never risk more than 4-6% of the whole account with simultaneous open trades.

Do I need experience in forex trading?

That depends on whether you want to understand the strategies the Expert Advisor is trading and whether you want to trade automatically or manual. In theory, you need no experience in Forex trading as long as you adhere to the guidelines and let the Expert Advisor trade automatically. If you would like to support the trades manually, you need a solid basic knowledge on Forex.

Dieser Indikator wurde für die Meta Trader Plattform, Version 4.x programmiert
und funktioniert auf allen Währungspaaren und in allen Zeitebenen.

Der RCSI basiert auf einem herkömmlichen RSI. Das besondere an diesem Indikator ist, dass er nicht nur die relative Stärke des jeweiligen Paares berechnet, sondern die relative Stärke beider Währungen aus allen vom Broker zur Verfügung gestellten Währungspaaren. Auf diese Weise erhalten wir zwei RSI-Werte, einmal für die erste Währung und einmal für die zweite Währung.

Doch damit nicht genug. Um die so berechneten Währungsstärken noch aussagekräftiger zu machen, besitzt der Indikator eine Input-Option um die jeweiligen RSI-Perioden anhand des dominanten Zyklus nach John F. Ehlers zu errechnen.

Das Einsatzgebiet des RCSI ist vielseitig. Ob als Bestätigung bei Ausbrüchen oder Trendfolge-Strategien, der RCSI sollte bei keiner Handels-Entscheidung fehlen.

Funktionen

Der dominante Zyklus: Der Devisenmarkt bewegt sich in Zyklen oder auch Wellen-Bewegungen. Die Länge dieser Zyklen verändert sich ständig. Um den dominanten Zyklus eines Charts herauszufinden gibt es diverse Ansätze. Der meiner Meinung nach beste Ansatz zur Berechnung des dominanten Zyklus, wird von John F. Ehlers beschrieben. Gegenüber anderen Berechnungen generiert diese Berechnung praktisch keinen Lag und ist somit besonders gut für das Trading zu gebrauchen.
Adaptiv: Mittels einer Input-Option können Sie den RCSI in einen adaptiven Indikator verwandeln der sich am momentan dominanten Zyklus jedes einzelnen Währungspaares orientiert.
Vollständig konfigurierbar: Sie möchten die Werte die zur Berechnung verwendet werden oder die Farben des Indikators anpassen? Kein Problem. Der RCSI verfügt über viele Input-Optionen, damit Sie ihn optimal für Sich anpassen können.
Smoothing: Es ist möglich die beiden Währungs-Berechnungen mit einem gleitenden Durchschnitt zu glätten. Die dazu notwendigen Einstellungen können Sie in den Input-Optionen machen.

Warum verkaufen Sie diesen Expert Advisor wenn er so gut ist?

Es gibt verschiedene Gründe einen guten Expert Advisor zu verkaufen. Ich selber habe mich während drei Jahren sehr intensiv mit Forex beschäftigt. Während dieser Zeit habe ich bestimmt gegen 100 Expert Advisor programmiert. Ich hätte auch den einen oder anderen davon verkaufen können aber für dies waren sie mir nicht gut genug. Das ist ganz unterschiedlich. Je nach Marktlage werden pro Woche und Währungspaar bis zu 10 Trades geöffnet.

Erhalte ich die selben Signale wie auf dem FX-Unleashed Demo-Account?

Dies hängt vom verwendeten Broker ab. Da nicht jeder Broker-Server in der selben Zeitzone läuft, werden auch die 4-Stunden Kerzen nicht zur selben Zeit geöffnet und geschlossen. Ein weiterer Grund für abweichende Signale ist die Berechnung der Währungsstärken. Hierfür werden alle vom Broker zur Verfügung gestellten Währungspaare verwendet und nicht alle Broker bieten gleich viele Währungspaare an. So kann es in der Berechnung der Währungsstärken zu kleineren Abweichungen kommen und ein Signal entsteht somit je nach Broker einmal etwas früher oder später. Auf was für Währungspaaren funktioniert der Expert Advisor?

Grundsätzlich funktionieren die Strategien auf allen Währungspaaren.
Ich selber handle sie jedoch nur auf Paaren mit weniger als 10 Pips Spread.

Was ist das benötigte Mindestkapital?

Sie sollten genug Kapital auf dem Konto haben um Trades mit einem Risiko von 2% des Kapitals eröffnen zu können (Stop-Loss ca. 50 Pips).
